Founded by Dylan Struik, who tried behaviour therapists and course after course that never moved the needle for his own dog, Luna, until one trainer finally showed him exactly what to do, step by step. DoggoPlan turns that into a $37 plan.
He lunges, barks, or freezes the second another dog appears. You scan every corner, cross the street to dodge triggers, and come home wired instead of relaxed. A walk should not feel like this.
The barking, the chewed-up door, the puddle by the mat. You watch him panic on the camera and feel sick about it. You've stopped saying yes to things just so you don't have to leave him.
He's tense when company comes over, on edge around the kids, set off by the vacuum or fireworks. You're embarrassed, exhausted, and quietly afraid of the day something goes wrong.
You've tried YouTube, friends' advice, maybe a class that didn't stick. You wonder if you're failing him. You're not. He's scared, not bad, and a clear plan can change that.
Every plan starts from the same place: the method behind every plan was developed by certified dog behavior coaches. You answer a short quiz, and we translate your dog's profile into a clear, week-by-week plan he can actually follow.
The exercises, the order, and the progressions come from protocols our affiliated coaches co-developed. Force-free throughout, no shock collars, no fear, no dominance tricks.
Your quiz answers, his triggers, his history, and your daily routine decide what goes into your plan and what gets left out. No generic checklist.
Every plan is reviewed by one of our coaches before it reaches you, so what lands in your inbox is something they would put their name on.
Our coaches are certified in force-free behavior work and have spent years with anxious and reactive dogs. They designed the protocols your plan is built on, and one of them quality-checks every plan before it is sent.
Answer about 10 quick questions about your dog, his triggers, and your day-to-day. It takes 2 minutes and tells us exactly what he's struggling with.
We build a step-by-step plan from your dog's profile and the force-free protocols our coaches designed. Week by week, with simple daily exercises that take 5 to 10 minutes.
Check off steps in your dashboard and watch him relax. Something changes or a new problem pops up? Tell the plan and it adjusts with you.
I got Luna in the middle of a burnout. I would love to say I did everything right, but I didn't. I was deep in my own dip, I barely left the house, and during the puppy months that matter most I hardly did anything with her. That was on me, completely. By the time I came up for air, we were already starting from way behind.
And it showed in everything. I couldn't sit on a terrace with her. I couldn't have anyone over, partly because she couldn't cope with it and partly because, honestly, I could barely cope with it myself. The one thing that was meant to help me through that period, my dog, had quietly become the thing holding me back. When I met my partner it held her back too: no friends round, no spontaneous plans, everything arranged around what Luna could handle.
So I did what you're told to do. I tried things myself. I had a behaviour therapist come to the house. I did training courses with her. And it just never moved. Plenty of theory, plenty of 'observe her, give her space, manage the situation,' page after page of information. Almost none of it told me what to actually do on a Tuesday night when someone knocked on the door.
What finally turned it around was sending Luna to a dog trainer. Not because he had some secret, but because he was decisive. He showed me exactly what to do, how to practise it myself, and what to switch to if it didn't work. 'Do this now. Too much? Drop back to this. When she can manage that, move on to this.' Suddenly it was a path instead of a pile of advice, and within weeks we were a completely different team.
That is the part that still gets to me. None of it was complicated. It could have been explained that clearly from day one. The therapists weren't wrong, they just weren't decisive, and when you're an overwhelmed owner, decisive is exactly what you need.
DoggoPlan is the thing I wish I'd had at the very start. The same force-free protocols the good trainers use, turned into a clear, step-by-step plan for your specific dog and your real life, for $37 instead of months of expensive trial and error. Not a magic fix. A direction you can actually follow at home, starting today.

DoggoPlan's method was developed by certified dog behavior coaches, and one of them reviews every plan before it reaches you. These are the coaches behind the force-free protocols your plan is built on.
Certified canine behavior coach, force-free methods
Works with dogs that lunge and bark on the lead. Bram co-developed the desensitization and counter-conditioning progressions behind the walking plans, and reviews plans for reactive cases.
Certified canine behavior consultant, separation-related behavior
Focuses on home-alone anxiety and confidence building. Tom shaped the gradual alone-time protocols in DoggoPlan and checks that each plan's pacing is realistic for the owner's routine.
Certified dog trainer, fearful and rescue rehabilitation
Specializes in newly adopted and under-socialized dogs. Joris helped design the early-foundation and trigger-handling steps, keeping every exercise gentle and achievable at home.
Certified professional dog trainer, force-free puppy education
Guides owners through the critical first months. Jake co-developed the puppy socialization and house-training tracks, and reviews puppy plans so each step matches the dog's age and stage.
Certified canine behavior coach, resource guarding
Helps dogs that tense up around food, toys or space. Sven built the trade-and-management protocols used in DoggoPlan and reviews plans where guarding shows up around the home.
Certified behavior consultant, noise phobia and sound sensitivity
Works with dogs that panic at fireworks, storms and household sounds. Marcus shaped the sound-desensitization progressions and reviews plans so the pacing stays calm and force-free.
Certified dog trainer, multi-dog and household dynamics
Specializes in homes with more than one dog. Lieke co-developed the routine and management steps that keep multi-dog plans realistic, and reviews them for fairness to every dog.
Certified canine behavior coach, force-free / fear-free methods
Focuses on over-aroused dogs and jumping, pulling and door manners. Sophie helped design the calm-settle and impulse-control exercises, and reviews plans to keep them gentle and clear.
A few notes from owners after following their plan for a few weeks.
Week three and Max can now watch another dog from across the park without losing it. We're not there on close passes yet, but the panic is gone and that already changed our walks.
The daily steps are short enough that I actually do them. Five minutes before breakfast. Luna used to bark at the front door for a full minute, now it's a glance and she settles.
I liked that it felt made for Pepper specifically, not a generic dog. The plan named her exact triggers from the quiz. Honestly relieved it wasn't another one-size video course.
Leaving the house used to mean a chewed door frame. Six weeks in we can do twenty minutes alone with no damage and no crying on the camera. Slow but it's working.
Good plan and clearly force-free, which mattered to me. I'd have liked a bit more video for the harder exercises, but the written steps were clear and the progress is real.
My old rescue is wary of everyone, especially men. He let my brother sit in the same room calmly this weekend. First time in eight months. I teared up a little.
