Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data DoggoPlan collects, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

2. What we collect
We collect: the answers you give in the quiz (about your dog and your routine); your name and email address; order and payment metadata needed to deliver and support your plan (we never see or store full card numbers); your dashboard activity and any feedback or problem reports you send; how you use our pages, including session recordings (clicks, scrolls and page views, with everything you type masked); and analytics and advertising identifiers, such as cookies, pixel IDs, ad click IDs, your IP address and browser details. If you order the Home Team Pack and tell us who lives with your dog, we store the roles, age groups and (if you fill them in) first names you give us. We only use them to create your pack and delete them when you ask us to delete your account.
3. How we use it, and our legal bases
We use your data to build, deliver, and support your personalized plan and to run your account (to perform our contract with you); to send service emails about your order and plan (contract); to send optional tips and reminders, which you can opt out of at any time (consent or our legitimate interest); to measure and improve our ads and website (our legitimate interest, or your consent where the law requires it, see section 8); and to meet legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell your personal information for money. We also use quiz answers in aggregated, anonymized form for research and publications, such as "34% of owners sometimes feel embarrassed by their dog". These never contain names, email addresses or individual answers, and we leave out any group smaller than 50 people, so no one can be identified (legitimate interest).
4. Who we share it with
We share data only with the providers that run DoggoPlan on our behalf: Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), our database and hosting providers Neon and Vercel, Google (Gemini, to support our communication, the interactive quiz, and our operations; Google Analytics and Google Ads, to measure our site and ads), Meta (the Meta Pixel and the Conversions API, to measure our ads), TikTok (the TikTok Pixel, to measure our ads), PostHog (product analytics and session recordings, hosted in the EU) and Trustpilot (to invite customers to leave a review). The ad platforms (Meta, Google and TikTok) can also receive events from our server, such as a completed purchase, together with hashed (scrambled) contact details like your email address, so they can match the purchase to the ad you clicked. Each provider handles your data under its own agreement.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers are based outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your data.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as you have an account and your plan, and afterwards only as long as needed to provide support, meet legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, subject to those obligations.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email info@doggoplan.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
8. Cookies and tracking
We use essential cookies to run the site. We also use Google Analytics, Google Ads, the Meta Pixel, the TikTok Pixel and PostHog (including session recordings) to see how our site is used and which ads work. In the United States these load without a consent prompt. Google's advertising cookies work differently for visitors from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland: they are off by default, and if you come to us from a Google ad from one of those countries, we show a banner asking whether you allow them. You can change that choice at any time through "Cookie settings" at the bottom of our site pages. That banner covers Google's advertising cookies only; Google Analytics, Meta, TikTok and PostHog are not part of it. To opt out, you can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, use your browser's tracking protection, adjust your ad preferences in your Google, Meta and TikTok accounts, or email info@doggoplan.com with any question or request about your data.
9. Children
DoggoPlan is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. US residents
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do share limited data with advertising platforms (Meta, Google and TikTok), as described in sections 4 and 8, so we can measure which ads work. Some US state laws may treat that as "sharing" for advertising, and you can ask us to stop: email info@doggoplan.com. You can also ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@doggoplan.com from the address you used with us. We will not treat you differently for making any of these requests.
